一茶双樹記念館

一茶双樹記念館は、流山市指定史跡「小林一茶寄寓の地」の保全及び文化の振興を図るとともに、市民の福祉の増進に資するために設置された施設です。

俳人小林一茶とみりん醸造創設者の一人と言われる五代目秋元三左衛門（俳号双樹）は交友があり、一茶はこの地を数十回訪れています。

安政年間（19世紀中頃）の建物を解体修理し、茶会・句会等に利用できる双樹亭及び往時を偲ばせる主庭を中心に、商家を再現し、みりん関係資料などを展示する秋元本家、茶会・句会等に利用できる一茶庵から構成されています。

Issa-Soju Memorial Hall
The Second Home of Kobayashi Issa
Issa-Soju Memorial Hall, also known as the “second home of Kobayashi Issa,” is a Nagareyama City Designated Historic Site.
This facility was originally established with the purpose of promoting the preservation and conservation of this cultural site,
supporting the wellbeing of the locals, and protecting the history and cultural heritage of the area.

Kobayashi Issa, a world-renowned haiku poet, and Akimoto Sanzaemon the Fifth, who is believed to be one of the inventors of Shiro Mirin, were known to have shared a close friendship. Issa is said to have visited Akimoto at his residence in Nagareyama more than 50 times.

The Soju-tei, where you can enjoy matcha and a light snack on an engawa porch, is located in the original drawing room of the Akimoto residence. Originally built back during the Ansei period (1855-1860), the building was dismantled and rebuilt in its current location. The Japanese dry garden, one of the main attractions here, has also been reconstructed, offering a glimpse into the past.

At the Issa-an, located in the refurbished main building of the Akimoto residence, several historic documents and artifacts related to Mirin are on display. Tea ceremonies and poetry readings are often hosted here, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a rich cultural experience.

一茶と双樹

小林一茶 Kobayashi Issa

小林一茶(1763-1827)江戸時代を代表する俳諧師当時、北総地方には、悠々自適の境地を楽しもうという、俳人山口素堂の一派である “葛飾派”の俳人が多く、馬橋で油屋を営む俳人大川立砂もその一人で、一茶もはじめは葛飾派に属していました。
流山の秋元三左衛門（俳号：双樹）と知りあったのも、おそらく立砂を通じてではなかったかと思われます。北総地方は、一茶にとってはいわば第二のふるさとであり、流山の双樹のもとには、 50回以上も来訪したことが知られています。

A famous haiku poet who is a representative figure of poetry from the Edo period. During this time, most poets located in the northern region of Chiba Prefecture, known as the Hokuso region, followed a style of poetry called Katsushika-ha, which was founded by the poet Yamaguchi Sodo.
Issa also followed this style early in his career, and it is said that he met Akimoto through an oil merchant in Mabashi, named Oogawa Ryusa, who also followed this style. The Hokuso region is known as Issa’s second homeland, where he visited Akimoto in Nagareyama over 50 times.

秋元双樹 Akimoto Soju

流山で醸造業を営み、味醂（みりん）の開発者のひとりと言われている、秋元家5代目三左衛門（1757～1812）。
秋元三左衛門は家業の傍ら俳句をたしなみ、俳号を双樹と号しました。秋元双樹の俳句は、「伊勢派撰集」（1780）に入選する程の腕前で趣味の範疇を超えておりました。

Akimoto Sanzaemon the Fifth ran a family brewing business and is known as one of the inventors of Shiro Mirin.
In addition to his family business, Akimoto also had an interest in haiku poetry, and wrote poems under the pen-name “Soju.” His aptitude for writing haikus, however, went beyond a simple pastime, with his work being published in Ise-ha Senshu (1780).

秋元本家について

歴史ある、商家の温もりと
蘇る時代を感じて

幕末ごろの下総地方の商家建築を再現。
寄棟造り瓦葺きの2階建てで、
広い「どま」と畳敷きの「みせ」からなっています。
また当時の商家につきものだった
格子戸、揚戸、箱階段などもしつらえました。
一茶や双樹についてはもちろん、
流山にゆかりの深い産品である
みりんなどに関連した展示を行っています。

一茶庵について

茶の香りと俳句のやりとり
癒しの和のひととき

双樹亭に調和するように、
寄棟造り瓦葺きで外壁を下見板張りにしました。
床の間と平書院を持ち、切り炉のある八畳の和室、
水屋を持つ四畳の和室、縁側からなります。

双樹亭について

四季折々の庭を眺めながら
庭のささやきに耳を澄ませて

秋元家8代目の助三郎の祝言に際して新築されたと
伝えられる書院を、
当地に曳き屋したもの。
解体修理で建築当初の姿に復原しました。
「おくのま」「なかのま」「おちゃのま」と
東西南北にまわる縁側からなります。
「おくのま」には、床の間・付書院が設けられ、
本格的書院造りとなっております。

開催イベントについて

梅薫る2月、館内は色とりどりの糸や布を使って作られたつるし雛飾りで、見る人に温かさと祝福の気持ちを届けます。
江戸時代の伝統つるし雛は「ちくちくの会」主宰伊藤繁子先生が子供の健やかな成長を願い一つ一つ縫い合わせて作られた作品をはじめ山田人形さんご協力の7段飾りのひな人形、工芸作家による創作雛で飾り付けられます。
